Common to all types of noise barriers is that they reduce annoying and loud noise levels. The requirements for a noise barrier depend on both where the noise barrier is to be placed and what type of noise the noise barrier is to reduce.
Polycarbonate
Our standard solution for stand-alone noise barriers is Nordic BS which is a reflective noise barrier with PC (polycarbonate).
Our transparent screens are provided with patterns or lines to reduce the risk of birds flying into the screen. Different types of patterns and lines are available, contact NRS for more information.
To extend the life of the polycarbonate screen, the screen can be provided with a protective coating.
