At Nordic Road Safety, we have 40 years of industry experience and are specialists in developing innovative road safety solutions.
The whole process
NRS are specialists in permanent road safety and invest significant resources in product development.
We are the only company in the Nordic region with our own equipment for crash testing guardrail systems and our own resources for computer simulations.
The company was founded in 2015 and has offices in Timrå, Västerås and Borås. Since 2021 we also have our own production at the headquarters in Timrå.
Our operations are largely driven by requirements from authorities and standards.
Through responsiveness to the market and product adaptation to customer needs, we continuously develop better solutions for lower cost.

We have a wide range of permanent road equipment for various types of infrastructure. We offer different types of barriers and screens of high quality and long service life.
Road safety services
We also provide ancillary services for these products (assembly, project management, development, etc.).
Sustainability
We believe our greatest contribution to sustainability is our efforts to create products that require less steel than competing products in similar capacity classes.
BASTA database
BASTA is aimed at anyone who wants to make informed choices about materials with the aim of phasing out substances with hazardous properties.
In the BASTA database you will find construction products that meet BASTA’s high standards for chemical content. The EU REACH legislation is at the heart of BASTA’s chemical content requirements.
