Welding tests

Work on pressure equipment and steel structures requires certified personnel.

Our welding inspector is qualified in welding test supervision and is therefore approved to issue welding test certificates in steel structures and pressure equipment, PED

Non-destructive testing

Magnetic particle testing (MT)

Magnetic particle testing can detect defects in and just below the surface of magnetic materials, and is commonly used for crack detection.

Our inspector is certified according to EN ISO 9712, LEVEL-II

Penetrant Testing (PT)

Penetrant testing is used to detect cracks and other surface-breaking defects, and is most commonly used on stainless and non-magnetic materials.

Visual testing is used to detect visible surface defects, such as cracks and damage.

Technical Support – Steel Structures

Review drawings and technical documentation for steel structures.
Support the construction manager with technical questions regarding steel installation.
Verify that structures comply with applicable standards and requirements.
Coordinate with structural engineers, suppliers, and installers.
Handle technical deviations and propose on-site solutions.
Verify material certificates and quality documentation.
Participate in inspections and quality controls.
Monitor that installation is carried out according to drawings and method statements.
Provide advice on welding, corrosion protection, and fastenings.
Prepare technical reports and documentation.

Measurements of contact

We perform RRA measurements (resistance measurements between corrosion protection systems and reinforcement) in bridge structures in accordance with the Swedish Transport Administration’s requirements and applicable industry standards. These measurements ensure that cast-in bolt groups and other steel components are electrically separated or isolated from the reinforcement within the concrete structure.
